Jane Bae Receives Richard-von-Mises Prize

Jane Bae, Assistant Professor of Aerospace; Susan Wu Scholar, has received the Richard-von-Mises Prize in appreciation of her work on developing mathematical tools for characterizing types of turbulent structures and their evolution in wall-bounded flows with complex and time-dependent boundary conditions. The Richard-von-Mises Prize is awarded every year by GAMM to a scientist for exceptional scientific achievements in the field of Applied Mathematics and Mechanics.
